I was born in Lubbock, Texas on a cold snowy day in February of 1961. A lot of water has gone under the proverbial bridge since then. During my life, I have had a number of professions. I have worked as a welder, a steam fitter, an electronics technician, a cook in the Army, a manufacturers representative and a Sales Manager for a pipe valve & fitting wholesaler.
I feel that everything that I have done in my life has taken me to where I am today. The "life" experience that I have gained makes me perfect for designing web sites. Why, you might ask? Because I can relate to most any situation. Whether its sales & marketing, technical, or commercial & industrial. I have real time experience that is beneficial to any company wanting to gain a web presence.
I gained most of my experience with computers and electronics from just "messing around". I attended Texas State Technical College in Amarillo, Texas after graduating from high school in Pampa, Texas. I recently graduated from New Mexico State University with an Associate of Science degree in Digital Graphics Technology. My adventure in post-secondary education started out as a hobby. I began taking classes in graphics design, web technology and video & animation in 2001 just because I enjoyed the field. Since I work for NMSU as the supervisor of the Heating Distribution System, it was easy for me to go to class.
Boy, how the time fly's! I have not pursued a career in graphic design yet. For now, I prefer to continue to gain experience doing freelance work and maybe someday . . . well, to be continued. |
